"This congress has been a space to address how to do and how to implement policies that ultimately allow us to detonate the productivity of Colombia (...) that has remained stagnant during the last two decades, "assured the vice president of competitiveness and value shared by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB), Marco Llinás.

The event, organized by the CCB, brought together delegates from 40 countries in Bogotá under the theme "The future of the clusters through collaboration between countries and regions. "

For its part, the Deputy Minister of Information Technologies and Communications, Daniel Quintero, said that they must create "associated ICT clusters" that complement the financial, agroindustrial, tourism and health sectors.

"We believe in the power of ICT clusters to accompany the development of local and regional economies of other clusters, technology is a factor not only differential but also transversal of the economy, fundamental for development, "he added.
