Rayet will build the largest artificial beach in Europe next to Madrid

The central element of the complex, called Alovera Beach, will be its great plate of water of almost 25,000 square meters surrounded by a sandy beach of 15,000 square meters.

This "leisure park" will also have towers of slides, children's pools, school sailing and water sports (such as kayaking, sailing or paddle surfing) and catering services (restaurant, snack bar and snack bar).

In addition, it will offer a thousand parking spaces and has been Planned access from the A-2 highway in order to avoid congestion in the urban center of Alovera, a municipality with some 12,400 inhabitants.

The project received the approval of the Plenary Alovera City Council on October 30, as explained today by Grupo Rayet president, Felix Abánades, who explained that they foresee that the facilities are operational in two years and a half or, at most, three years.

Its construction will involve the creation of 130 direct and 200 indirect jobs and during its exploitation in high season it will directly employ 170 workers, said Abánades, who explained that the entrance will be around 10 euros and that they foresee a minimum of 250,000 visitors per year.

"The intention is for the park to be open all year, although in the months of leisure will be restricted part of the activities ", according to Abánades, who has stressed that the project, built on public land by which will pay annually a fee, is sustainable and viable from the economic point of view.

In the environmental field, has stressed that water will be constantly regenerated with a technology innovative, very sustainable and that consumes 30 times less water than a golf course.

Alovera Beach will be developed in an area of �??�??performance of 105,000 square meters within the sector Suertes, south of the old town of Alovera and linked to the residential developments of the municipality.

Recently, Quabit Inmobiliaria agreed to buy Rayet, its main shareholder, a portfolio of finalist residential land in the Corredor del Henares, among which are all that Alovera has.

The idea of �??�??Alovera Beach emerged when they were looking for how revitalize the urban development of the sector, where more than 4,000 homes are planned, and after a visit to one of the lagoons of Crystal Lagoons, explained Abánades.

He pointed out that, in principle, and after a first survey, the autonomous authorities, which, for example, must give their approval to the bathing area, do not see any problem with the project.

Chilean multinational Crystal Lagoons, specialized in the construction of artificial lagoons, is currently present in 15 countries and Alovera will be its first artificial lagoon open to the general public.
