Strasbourg, France, Sep 13 (EFE) .- European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker today announced the creation of a European Cybersecurity Agency to prevent cybercrime, which he considered a real danger to democracy. p>
Cyber attacks are sometimes "more dangerous than guns and tanks" for democracy and stability of the countries, Juncker told the plenary of the European Parliament during his State of the Union address. p>
The Presidency of the European Union, which this semester exercises Estonia, has been proposed to make digital and cybersecurity one of its priorities and has convened a summit of EU leaders to address these issues on 29 September in Tallinn.
