Through Madrid, travelers from Oporto will be able to connect with the destinations offered Iberia from the Spanish capital, including the new routes to San Francisco (United States) and Managua (Nicaragua) that will open in 2018.

"The traffic from Portugal is very important not only point to point but also the traffic in connection with Europe and Latin America, and also with Asia. director.

Iberia will also maintain its current operation between Madrid and Lisbon, a route that opened its international connections in 1939 and has 66 flights per week.

The airline also has seasonal connections between Portugal and Spain and in summer it flies to Faro (from Madrid) and to Funchal (from Madrid, Santiago de Compostela and Bilbao), links the Portuguese capital with Palma de Mallorca, Santander and Menorca, and connects the latter with Porto.

The group is immersed in a process of renewal of the fleet and also of the product, with the launching of the last May of the Premium Tourist class.
