The announcement was made during the inauguration of the aviation fair Dubai Airshow 2017, which began today in the city, with the presence of the vice president and prime minister Emirati, Mohamed bin Rashid al Maktoum, according to a statement from the company.

The 40 aircraft, which will be delivered from 2022, will serve in part to rejuvenate the fleet of the company and to expand it to its growth plans.

Today's order adds to the purchase of 150 Boeing 777 aircraft, announced in 2013, which will be delivered from 2020, according to the note.
